In 2021, for six weeks, the oceans returned to the SS Great Britain. A collaboration brought about by the SS Great Britain Trust with Limbic Cinema, Saili Katebe and Joe Acheson featured projection mapping, animation, lighting/sound design, composition and performance poetry. The installation brought vividly to life the story of global migration and set a new benchmark for immersive storytelling.
Below is a selection of the key engagement on social media and content produced throughout Iron Island’s journey.
