New for 2025, you’re invited to eat a picnic on the ship’s deck! Bring your favourite snacks and settle down on one of our picnic blankets or relax in a deckchair to share food with family and friends.

When the ship was scuttled in the 1930s-60s the bay became a popular picnic spot. We’re excited to bring this tradition back to life for nostalgic vibes this summer in Bristol’s most unique picnic spot!  

For the adventurous

Discover our new trail around the weather deck by using all your senses. See, hear, touch and smell to uncover surprising facts about the ship’s past and learn how the deck was used by passengers on board in the Victorian times.

For the wow-factor

Go underwater and explore the awe-inspiring Dry Dock. See the ship’s original hull up close and wonder at the huge scale of the record-breaking vessel.  

For the little ones

Little visitors will have the chance to get their face painted in true throwback fashion. And even better… Kids Go Free!
