The SS Great Britain Trust was established in 1970 to look after the SS Great Britain and Brunel's legacy.
As you can imagine, the current situation has drastically reduced our main source of income. Despite having to close our doors for many months, our duty of care remains. Care for the ship and the collection comes at a significant and on-going cost, around 1,600 pounds a day.
This world-wide crisis has affected us all, however, if you find yourself in the position to give at this time, please help us continue to protect an important part of our Nation's history by making a donation.
Thanks to your generosity we can all enjoy Brunel's legacy
