Image Licensing
The Brunel Institute is a collaboration of the SS Great Britain Trust and the University of Bristol and houses a rich collection of archive materials, drawings, photographs, prints, paintings and ship plans relating to 19th and 20th century maritime history as well as Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Images and scanned documents are available for use by any researchers, publishers and web developers.
The team at the Brunel Institute can assist researchers and publishers in finding and licensing images from the museum’s collections for use. There are thousands of images that can be made available for a range of media, including TV and film production, book publishing, magazines, and digital products such as websites and other online content.
Donations generated through fees and charges are used to support the conservation and care of collections by the SS Great Britain Trust.
