Archive in Five
For a quick and easy way to get a glimpse behind the scenes and explore some of the wonderful stories in the collection, the team in the Brunel Institute run open doors sessions during Institute opening times. Get closer to the history and view objects that are not normally on display, talk to curators and dedicated volunteers, hunt for Lego rats that have infested one of our large ship models, and take a journey of discovery with stories of items from the storeroom.
Archive in Five sessions run 12 – 1pm on Wednesdays to Fridays, and the first two Saturdays of every month. Come see us for a quick five-minute adventure, or stay for a longer conversation and explore the library shelves. There are many treasures to be found!
Take a look at a video to gain an impression of what you could discover during these archive sessions.
