After selling out our previous lates, we’ve added more evening dates for Ocean Photographer of the Year 2025. Step into the Dry Dock after work or after dark and experience this stunning exhibition in a whole new light.

As night falls, over 100 award‑winning images are revealed beneath the ‘glass sea’, surrounding Brunel’s iconic ship. These powerful photographs offer rare glimpses into the beauty, diversity and fragility of our ocean world.

Enjoy exclusive evening access to the exhibition, with a pop‑up bar serving drinks throughout. Please note: the rest of the SS Great Britain site will be closed.

Tickets: £10
Capacity: max. 80 people per session

You can arrive at any time within your timeslot, however make sure to give yourself ample time to see the exhibition before your time slot’s end.

The Categories

This exhibition presents a range of rare and compelling perspectives from the deep sea — moments only a few have been fortunate enough to witness. The categories explore themes of Human Connection, Hope, Adventure, Wildlife, Young Photographers and Impact, taking visitors on a journey from exhilarating encounters alongside extraordinary marine life to dreamlike scenes so candid they feel almost unreal. To give a sense of the exhibition’s scope, explore a selection of the winning and finalist works below.
