MAY FAMILY FUN
We’re making a splash this May half term with four days of family fun at Bristol’s iconic landmark, the SS Great Britain. This year, Kids Go Free* all week long!
There’s plenty of activities to keep the whole crew entertained, from movie screenings and face painting to a surf simulator and an activity trail winding its way through the ship. Here’s everything that’s included in General Admission:

Surf’s up! 🏄
Ride the waves without getting wet. Can you beat the simulator scoreboard and be crowned our surfing champion, or will it be a total wipeout?

Face painting 🎨
Let your face be the canvas! Little sailors can transform themselves with maritime-inspired face paint – from ocean creatures to shipshape designs – before setting off to explore the SS Great Britain.

Family film club 🍿
Grab your popcorn and settle in for a cosy cinema experience. We’ve selected two family favourites inspired by the wonders of the sea – perfect for little explorers after a day of dockside discovery.

The Great Egg Hunt 🐧
Follow the colony! A waddle of penguins from the Falkland Islands has hidden eggs all over the ship. Grab your trail sheet and see how many you can find.
