Kimber’s Men: Evening Shanties Onboard
Step aboard the SS Great Britain after hours for an unforgettable evening of shanties at sunset with Kimber’s Men. Renowned for their powerfully unaccompanied vocals and rich harmonies, Kimber’s Men have been hailed as “the UK’s finest sea shanty band.”
Bringing maritime history to life through song, they’ve captivated audiences at major festivals across the UK and Europe, and reached national acclaim through appearances on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and the BBC’s Sea Songs with Gareth Malone.
As their soaring, salt‑tinged voices echo through the ships iron hull, you’ll have exclusive evening access to the breathtaking Ocean Photographer of the Year, where striking images of ocean life can be found under the ‘glass sea’ of the dry dock.
This event has limited capacity and is expected to sell quickly.
