We are a charity, which receives no core government funding. We are privileged to look after the SS Great Britain and Brunel’s legacy.
With current situation, we have lost our main source of income, but our duty of care remains. This comes at a significant and ongoing cost.
This year marks the 50th anniversary since the SS Great Britain was rescued from the Falkland Islands and brought back home to Bristol. Now we are facing a very different challenge.
