From week commencing 12 April, the Great Western Dockyard, Harbourside Kitchen and shop will be open Friday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm. Our café will be running outdoor table service on a walk-up basis, enjoy drinks, snacks and freshly battered fish and chips with a harbour view. Whilst we can’t open our indoor museums just yet, our outdoor spaces will be open. Visit the Great Western Dockyard for a suggested donation, with an up-close view of the SS Great Britain, don’t forget to stop off at our shop afterwards for unique gifts and souvenirs.
We look forward to welcoming visitors back to Brunel’s SS Great Britain when we can reopen fully on 17 May, subject to government restrictions. Tickets will be released in the coming weeks.

The current crisis is having a huge impact on us as a charity. We continue to look after the SS Great Britain and collections on behalf of the nation despite losing most of our income. Please help support us. Thank you.
