The Story so far…
It is 1937. The Parish Council of the all-but-forgotten village of Prinkton on Sea have finally agreed to make a proper cricket pitch on the village green. They have also decided to rename the pub on the green to something more appropriate than ’The Olde Stump Inn’ and tonight the council will hold a meeting at the local guest house to decide on the new name and to get an update on the progress with the cricket pitch.
When a village gets together to make a collective decision it is not unusual to encounter a little animosity or even in extreme circumstances perhaps a good deal of shouting.
But for the people present at the meeting tonight, there is a person or persons yet unknown who are going to make very sure that this meeting will go down in the history of the village, as the night that they finally got even!
