The Events Co-ordinator will be responsible for developing new and existing business to grow C&E revenue. Delivering innovative solutions to potential clients in line with business objectives and Elior UK standards, in order to achieve and maximise targets.

JOB TITLE: Events Co-ordinator

JOB TYPE: Permanent

RESPONSIBLE TO: General Manager

SALARY: £24,000 per annum

HOURS: 40 hours per week, will include weekend and evening
hours

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Events Co-ordinator will be responsible for developing new and existing business to grow C&E revenue. Delivering innovative solutions to potential clients in line with business objectives and Elior UK standards, in order to achieve and maximise targets. Account manage existing clients to encourage repeat business and drive enquiries through pro-active sales activity. To provide operational support in event delivery as and when required

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support in event delivery as and when required which may require working 5 days out of 7 to include weekends and evenings
  2. Prospecting potential clients
  3. Responding appropriately to incoming enquiries and chasing to conclusion
  4. Adaptable, whilst able to confirm strictly to Elior UK procedures
  5. Highly organised and able to deal with all tasks, to see a job through to conclusion
  6. Ensure bookwork and written communication is completed accurately and to specified deadlines
  7. Prepare quotes, contracts and event proposals for conference and vents of all types, including internal
  8. Ensure all duties are up to date and completed to the highest standard
  9. To maintain client and Elior UK confidentiality and security always
  10. Monitor trends within industry
  11. Liaise with all key departments and roles including Sales, Food and Beverage / Conference and Banqueting / Hospitality
  12. Create signage and menus as required
  13. Deal with all feedback, escalating as per SLA
  14. Complete all event and sales admin tasks
  15. Prepare and submit on the required format all budgetary information and updates as required
  16. Ensure profit margins are maintained and agreed costs are not exceeded through effective control systems
  17. To attend daily / weekly briefing sessions and departmental meetings when required
  18. To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, hygiene, licensing, and employment
