The Sales and Events Co-ordinator will be responsible for developing new and existing business to grow revenue.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Catering and Events
SALARY: £22,000 per annum
HOURS: 40 hours per week
SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Sales and Events Co-ordinator will be responsible for developing new and existing business to grow revenue. Delivering innovative solutions to potential clients in line with business objectives and Elior UK standards, to achieve and maximise targets. With the Sales Manager, to account manage existing clients to encourage repeat business and drive enquiries through pro-active sales activity. To provide operational support in event delivery as and when required.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond appropriately to incoming enquiries in a timely manner and chasing to conclusion
- Highly organised and able to deal with all tasks, to see a job through to conclusion
- Ensure bookwork and written communication is completed accurately and to specified deadlines and are completed to the highest standard
- Prepare quotes, contracts and event proposals for conference and events of all types, by use of the software system
- Ensure payments are made on time and are processed correctly
- To maintain SS Great Britain and Elior UK confidentiality and security
- Liaise with all key departments and roles including Sales, Food and Beverage, Conference and Events
- Create signage and menus as required
- Deal with all feedback, escalating as per local agreement
- Complete all event and sales administration tasks
- Prepare and submit all budgetary and events information and update as required
- Ensure profit margins are maintained and agreed costs are not exceeded through effective control systems
- To attend daily / weekly briefing sessions and departmental meetings when required
- To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, hygiene, licensing, and employment
- Support in event delivery as and when
