SALARY: £30,000

HOURS: 40 hours a week, will include weekend and evening hours

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for motivating the Events team to achieve Elior UK objectives. Also for ensuring maximised efficiency of all resources available to ensure excellent service delivery in line with clients and Elior UK requirements within your area of responsibility and to deputise in the absence of the General Manager.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Delivery of successful events ensuring agreed SOPs are maintained and budget is achieved
  2. Assist sales team in planning events
  3. Demonstrate a can-do attitude and maintain a positive environment in which the C&E team can deliver events successfully.
  4. Provide ongoing support, training and development for the events team through coaching, on the job training, online training and performance management
  5. Develop the supervisors to ensure compliance to all local SOPs and Elior UK processes and procedures
  6. Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal relationships, management reporting and client liaison to support the delivery of operational excellence
  7. To ensure that the team are adhering to: the terms of their contract; uniform standards; time keeping and attendance; breaks; online training targets
  8. Ensure the service team has thorough and up to date product and service knowledge in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients including provenance, allergens and recommendations
  9. Ensure that all complaint handling is dealt with professionally and in line with procedures
  10. Manage the compliance of COSHH, Health & Safety, Hygiene and Food Safety regulations throughout the team and to report any incidents in line with procedures
  11. Maintain, order and control stock within budget to ensure consistent supply
  12. Provide feedback to the General Manager and Head Chef on menus and design of food service
  13. Be accountable for: maximising sales; providing sales analysis figures; monitoring abuse of the staff meals policy and minimise wastage
  14. Deal with any HR issues that may arise as per company procedure
  15. To assist when necessary, with producing the weekly costed rota in line with company budget
  16. To complete all duty manager tasks as per procedure
  17. Ensure that expected the level of cleanliness is maintained in all areas
  18. To assist the wider management team with any other duties to meet the needs of the business
  19. To prepare for and actively engage in weekly Operations Meetings
  20. To support any of the local Elior UK team as and when required
  21. Keep open lines of communication with the General Manager by effective, regular and detailed communication
