Friday 15 May, 6-9pm, £5
Experience the most unique tour of Brunel's ss Great Britain.
As part of Culture24's national festival of inspiring after-hours events, museums and art galleries will be opening their doors late so that people can experience the spaces as they have never seen them before.
For just £5 you can explore on board Brunel's ss Great Britain when the lights go down and the crew goes home.
Intrepid explorers should come armed with a torch to search for Captain Gray’s lost chocolate gold coins and, if they are feeling brave enough, do a night-time climb of Go Aloft!
The Dockyard Cafe Bar will be extending its opening hours for those who want to make the most of their evening and savour the view overlooking the harbourside, with delicious, local and hot pies, mushy peas and gravy.
Tickets available to BUY ONLINE.
Museums at Night 2015 will return in October for a second event. We are currently in a public vote to get the artist Luke Jerram (who previously brought the 'Park & Slide' waterslide to Park Street and scattered pianos around Bristol for 'Play Me, I'm Yours') to come and do an installation on board the ss Great Britain. If you would like to see something amazing in the city, please vote for us HERE.
