Brunel Institute

Staff looking after the collection

Every Friday

12.30pm - 1.30pm

FREE

Come behind the scenes to hear experts tell how we look after the thousands of documents, books and objects in our care.

The Brunel Institute is home to an internationally-renowned collection of maritime documents and objects, including the world's finest collection of original resource material relating to Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

Conservation in Action sessions are free events and give you the opportunity to find out how we care for the collections. At times there may be some items normally stored in the Archive Vault available to see.
