Captain's Dinner

Brunel's SS Great Britain

The SS Great Britain at Dundrum Bay

Friday 28 April 2017

6pm - 11pm

£65

Join us for an evening of music, history and fine dining. Learn about the history of the ship and its Irish adventure in 1847. See rarely seen artefacts from the Dundrum Bay incident and hear about the grounding and refloat of the ship from our Maritime Curator, Joanna Thomas AMA.

Listen to “The Ceili”, a classic celtic band in the 19th century Dry Dock while enjoying a classic Black Velvet, then move to the Ship’s First Class Dining Saloon for a sumptuous three course Irish themed dinner.

With a chance to view the ship after dinner, you will enjoy the craic!
