Leave a gift in your will

A man and child looking at the ship's engine

A gift in your will is a wonderful way to protect the ss Great Britain for future generations.

Whether you leave a specific amount or a percentage of your estate, it will be invested in a permanent endowment to secure the ongoing conservation of the ship.

  • £1,000 could pay for a full year of servicing for the ship's beating heart; the incredible 1,000 horsepower 'Vee' engine.
  • £5,000 could pay for a complete set of replacement flags to dress the ship, so she looks as impressive as she did on the day of her launch in 1843.

We assure you that any gift left to the Trust will be used carefully and cost-effectively so that it has the greatest impact.
