The ss Great Britain Trust is a museum and registered charity that relies on donations to maintain the ship and her collections and display them for all to enjoy. 

It costs around £1 million each year to keep the ss Great Britain conserved to a high standard and to stop the corrosion that threatens her fragile wrought iron hull.

Members are vital for the survival of the ss Great Britain as their support helps to meet this cost.

Our corporate partners make a difference by supporting the ship and the award-winning education programmes that reach over 16,000 school children each year.  To recognise their support, we offer a range of unique benefits. 

There are opportunities to volunteer at the ship or as a guest speaker in your area.  Volunteering can be personally rewarding and is crucial in helping the Trust provide a memorable visitor experience.

Leaving a legacy in your Will will make a lasting difference to the ship’s future, and help support the work of the Trust.
