Over 750 employees and their families from businesses across the West, visited Brunel’s ss Great Britain for an exclusive family fun day.
They were treated to a whole host of activities, from storytelling to craft making workshops, at the Trust’s first ever Corporate Partner Family Day; which is just one of the many benefits offered to corporate partners when joining the Trust’s Corporate Partnership scheme.
In addition to this Corporate Partners play an important role in helping the Trust to care for and protect the ss Great Britain for future generations and continue to bring her history alive to the public today.
The Trust’s Fundraising Officer, Laura Mercury commented: “We are delighted to report the event was a resounding success. The take up from local businesses and their employees was phenomenal.”
“Many thanks to all the companies who have pledged their support to the Trust through the Corporate Partnership programme. We look forward to hearing from more businesses and organisations across the region who are interested in becoming corporate partners.”
Investment from the Corporate Partnership scheme is vital to the Trust, as it provides funding to support all of the Trust’s work from conservation and care for the ship to award-winning educational programmes.
