Brunel Badge Workshops
Brunel Badge Workshops
Fun, fascinating, active workshops suit learners at all levels, including those with special needs. All Brunel Badge workshops support the National Curriculum and QCA schemes of work and provide opportunities to explore aspects of the science curriculum in addition to history and a wide range of other subjects.
The Brunel Badge workshops also promote a wide range of skills across the National Curriculum with children being challenged to develop key communication and problem solving skills whilst working with others and being given opportunities to practice, combine, develop and refine their thinking skills: information processing, reasoning, enquiry and creative thinking.
The achievement of each child in completing the workshop, and using the skills that Brunel himself employed in his projects, is celebrated by the award of a Brunel Badge and accompanying certificate.
