Grant Watson

 

Grant Watson, OBE

Grant was co-opted as a Trustee in April 2010.  Grant is also a member of the Audit and Remuneration Sub-Committee. Grant is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and was a Senior Partner at Alder King from1977-2003 and is currently Chairman.  Grant was Immediate Past Chairman RICS SW Region Board, Former Director of Broadmead Board, Past President of the Grateful Society, Past President of Bristol Property Agents Association, Past President Bristol Rotary Club, and Past President Clifton RFC.  Grant is now Chairman of Coombe Dingle Sports Trust, Director and Trustee of Wooden Spoon Children’s Charity and Chairman of Newport Urban Regeneration Company.

Grant received the Lifetime Achievement Award, South West Property in 2007.

In January 2012, he was awarded the OBE in recognition of his work on the regeneration of Newport.
