Colin H Green

Colin H Green, CBE, FREng, BSc, CEng, FIMechE, FRAeS

Colin was elected as a member of the Board of Trustees in June 2006, before becoming Vice Chairman in January 2007 and Chairman in February 2009. Colin also chairs the Audit and Remuneration Sub-Committee, the Trustees Fundraising Committee, Brunel Institute Campaign Board, Advisory Ship’s Council and ss Great Britain Trading Limited. Colin is also a member of the Endowment Committee. Colin is retired and he was formerly President of Rolls-Royce Defence Aerospace and served on the Board of Rolls-Royce plc for 10 years. He is a former President of the Society of British Aerospace Companies.

He is Chairman of fly2help, a trustee of Queen Mary’s Roehampton Trust and a member of the University of Bristol Council. Colin was awarded the CBE in 2005 for services to the Defence Industry.   He has honorary doctorates from the University of Bristol and the University of Cranfield.
